Hello There!
My name is Brittany Foye, and I am a Pre-Med student at the Academy for Arts, Science, and Technology. My ultimate goal in life is to become a surgeon. I have already started this path by making every year in high school count, and I plan to continue preparing by making my college years count as well.
I’m very eccentric and witty and I’m always coming up with new things and give my educated opinions for the better understanding of my peers and myself. I am a self-motivated risk taker that is not afraid to get my hands dirty for a successful result. I also like working with different types of people and have no problem with collaboration to get a job done; I also have amazing people skills which are a necessary asset to make it in the world that we live in today. |
My goals include graduating from high school with honors, and going to a good college with a good pre-medical program, and then getting accepted to medical school. I hope that, in the future, I can become either a neurosurgeon or a trauma surgeon. In order to work towards these goals, I have doubled up on my subjects in high school for my first two years, and then took more rigorous courses to prepare me for college and medical school. I also enrolled into a premedical program that is a part of one of the magnet schools in my county.
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be... as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
